who i am
“A passion to care, Help and protect Others”
God gave me an assignment in life at a very young age, but I didn’t fully realize or understand the assignment. I only knew that I had a passion to care, help and protect others. I thought it was to care for people suffering from illness, so I became a Licensed Practical Nurse and later a Registered Nurse. I thought it was to serve and protect my country, so I Enlisted into the Military as an EMT and later as a Commissioned Officer in the Nurse Corp. I thought it was to heal people with mental disorders, I majored in Pre-Med/Psychology. I thought it was to help people take a break from reality, so I studied acting at The American Conservatory Theater. I thought it was to help people find their soul mates, so I decided to be the real life “Hitch” (Will Smith, 2005.)

“While trying to save the world, I forgot about saving myself.”
Journeying through life trying to help people, I suffered from caregiver burnout and lack of connections. I hide multiple failures with my marriage, significant others, children, family, friends, and co-workers. These relationship failures produced anger, sadness, depression, grief, guilt, shame, regrets and anxiety. I was breathing, but not alive! I was suffering and didn’t know how to improve my well-being. I pondered if true happiness really existed in the world? God answered me on December 30, 2017, on my birthday, during the ending of a relationship. True happiness exists, but it’s not found in the world, but within yourself! I needed to first save myself by offering forgiveness for the pain I’ve caused to myself and the pain I’ve caused to others. “Compassion for Self-Love for Others” became my motto! I knew I needed to heal and change in order to find the path of my mission and live out my true purpose and passion. I knew it wasn’t going to be easy and would be the most challenging time in my life. It was the end of the beginning, and the beginning of the end. But there was just one problem, I didn’t know the first steps of how to change and become a better me. I didn’t know how to discover my true self. I only knew that I wanted to grow and bloom! The Coaching method motivated me to practice self-compassion, self-love, and self-care! The journey down the path of change and happiness began to grow me beyond the limits of my own mind!
Why coaching?
“Coaching is a unique profession with many interesting aspects. Unlike other professions, working with a coach is an investment in, with an expected return on, one’s life.”
~ Bruce D Schneider, Energy Leadership, Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching
“Because clients invest a substantial amount of time and money into the coaching process and agree to be accountable for action, they immediately demonstrate a commitment to participate and get results. With the help of the coach, a results-oriented professional, people do get powerful, measurable, and often times miraculous results that last. These days, people usually look for coaches for two reasons.
First, due to the growing awareness of the profession, more and more people, in all walks of life, are considering working with a coach to try a cutting-edge modality that offers new possibilities for success.
The second reason comes from what they know or have heard: coaching works! People are realizing that it just makes good sense to have the assistance of someone who is non-judgmental, a good listener, and capable of thinking “outside the box” to help them make their lives more manageable and enjoyable.”
